Billing Policy

 

Sunrise Clinical Labs (SCL) strives to provide easy access and pain-free billing for patients. Following the testing, SCL will bill the patient’s insurance carrier for all testing services as ordered by the referring physician.

Should a payer deny or only provide partial payment, SCL will submit up to three levels of appeals on behalf of the patient to the payer (during which time SCL might seek additional information from the clinician or the patient).

SCL is required by law to bill patients for any applicable deductibles, outstanding balances, and co-insurances, as required by the payer.
